A conversation, first
We start with a free 30-minute call. No pitch, no pressure — just space to say out loud where you are and what you need. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
Private, one-on-one work for women navigating loss and everything it unravels. Not a program. Not a formula. A companion for the becoming.
What We Work On
Grief is rarely only grief. It arrives tangled up with money decisions, family dynamics, an identity that no longer fits, and a calendar full of dates that mean something new now.
We work on whichever thread you can hold that week. Some sessions are strategic. Some are just company. Both are the work.
How It Works
01
We start with a free 30-minute call. No pitch, no pressure — just space to say out loud where you are and what you need. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
02
Sessions run 60 minutes, every other week, over video. We move at the pace grief actually moves at — some weeks are for practical decisions, some are for sitting in what hurts. Both count.
03
You leave each call with one thing to carry, not a homework pile. Voice-note support between sessions means you are never holding the hard days alone until the next appointment.
Ways to Work Together
For the earliest, rawest stretch — when the paperwork, the casseroles and the disbelief are all happening at once.
For the woman past the first shock who is asking the bigger question: what now? Identity, direction, and the slow rebuild.
A standalone session for a specific weight — an anniversary, a decision, a conversation you cannot figure out how to have.
Pricing is shared on the intro call, and there are two reduced-fee places held open each season. If cost is the only thing in the way, say so — it is not a strange thing to ask.
you're becoming someone new
“Amanda helped me realize that grief wasn’t the end of my story.”
Before You Ask
No — and it is important to me that you know the difference. Therapy treats; coaching accompanies. I am not a licensed clinician and I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Many of my clients see a therapist and work with me at the same time, and I will always encourage that where it helps.
There is no rule. Some women come to me three weeks in, some three years. What matters more than timing is whether you want company for the walk. If it is too soon, we will both feel it on the intro call, and there is no cost to finding that out.
Most of my clients are widows, because that is the road I walked. But the work travels — divorce, estrangement, a diagnosis, the loss of the life you thought you were building. If loss rewrote your story, you belong here.
Then you fall apart on a call. That is not the session going wrong; that is often the session going right. Nothing you bring will be too much.
Not by feeling better every week — grief does not grant that. You will notice it in smaller things: a decision made without dread, a morning that started easier, a sentence about your future that you actually believe.
Start Here
Thirty minutes, no cost, no pitch. Tell Amanda where you are and she'll tell you honestly whether this is the right kind of help.
If a call feels like too much today, the book is a quieter place to start. Either door leads to the same room.
